I Started a Substack in 2025. Here’s What Actually Happened.
These 2025 Posts Changed Me. Apparently, They Changed You Too.
I’m kicking off my first Substack of 2026 by doing something delightfully simple: looking back at my best posts from 2025, the year this whole experiment actually began. Sure, it’s only a few months of material. Yes, the archive is still basically a newborn. But there’s real gold in that mess, and I’m not shy about saying so.
So let’s crack it open and see what’s worth unwrapping.
It’s safe to say that these are my best posts because I enjoyed the process of writing them, I enjoy the end result and YOU engaged! That mix highlights the ‘best’ for me.
We’ve looked at a few different technologies in TechViews this year, but the first one launched was a clear standout.
The culmination of the year has been a ten (TEN!) part series reflecting on the 2026 As You Find Me Reflection Card. I do intend for this to be a yearly tradition to offer my own reflective journaling. Part 5 particularly resonates, but if you missed it feel free to jump into Part 1 or the inspiring Rosebud AI Journaling review that kicked it off.
I’d be remiss not to highlight the very first post, given it does have a kick ass title. I’d originally shared it as a LinkedIn post for my network, finding that both time and encouragement led me to hit “Create” in the substackverse.
For all the life updates, health updates and technology reviews, we rallied around BookViews this inaugural year as well.
Finally, what else? There were Notes, intros to a Pod, an extensive often updated About page, a BIO page with links to all the socials to further engage with AYFM, and the transition to asyoufind.me!
How would you like to find me in 2026?
